Dr. Natalie Johnson is a local math hero with over 30 years of excellence and achievement in student-centered engagement and academic success. She taught mathematics at Waubonsie Valley High School, Metea Valley High School, College of DuPage and Illinois Benedictine University. She has led as department chair of the math and undergraduate honors program at National Luis University. Additionally, she spent many summers with students at the Center for Talent and Development at Northwestern University.
She is a recipient of the U.S. Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST), has served asĀ Illinois Mathematics State Coordinator for PAEMST, and worked as a STEM Professional/ Program Director/Project Manager/Mentor/Facilitator/Public Speaker/Curriculum Developer/Researcher.
